The new rings of Vera Rhodius’s Fiery Colors collection deliberately feature sleek and minimalist shapes so as to highlight the unique intensity of the fired enamel’s colors. The ring band’s gently curved edge enhances the impression of depth and the enamel strip’s luminous power. Since she worked with enamel for the first time while studying at Pforzheim’s School of Design, Rhodius has been intrigued by this material. “Enamel is a challenging material,” this designer comments, “whose intense presence fascinates me again and again.”
