A Pearly Round Dance

Eva Strepp, bracelets, 2011. Stainless steel cords, plain or gold-plated, freshwater pearls.
Eva Strepp has so far been known above all for her puristic yet appealingly elegant necklaces crafted from pearls and stainless steel or gold wire. For the first time, this jewelry designer from Pforzheim now also presents bangles featuring the same material combination. The construction, i.e. a five-strand, slightly twisted cord embraced by large oval and small round pearls, serves to enhance the bangle’s stability. At the same time, soldering marks are thus discreetly concealed inside these lustrous treasures. Like all of Eva Strepp’s pieces, these new creations also represent a skillful combination of function and clear-cut, almost self-explanatory form.
