A Wealth of Ideas

Eva Maisch, “gemini” brooch. Oxidized 925 silver and brilliant-cut diamonds. MODERN JEWELERY COLLECTION – WINNER 2011.
A Japanese kimono on a plain and simple wooden stand served Ines Königsmann as a source of inspiration while working on a joint project with Nora Schmidt. The results are functional pieces of furniture based on an ingeniously simple plug-and-socket construction. Complemented by a shawl with pockets and reminiscent of a clothes valet, they can accommodate a variety of things. The applied arts highlights presented at Eva Maisch’s Christmas exhibition will also include blankets by Katja Stelz, scarves by Dörte Behn, porcelain objects by Karla Hüneke and Johanna Hitzler, lamps created by “Suzusan” according to the shibori technique, paper creations by “pleased to meet”, plus jewelry by Eva Maisch and all the artists represented by her gallery.

Ines Königsmann, “Parva”, “Magna” and “Maxima” models. Wood, plug-and-socket construction.
