Endlessly in Motion

November 08, 2011 Berlin, Germany

Two bangles from the “endless” collection. 925 silver and 750 gold.

Featuring a sculptural, minimalist shape, the “endless” bangle exudes a timeless aesthetic in the classical modernist style. Shaped into bold intersecting arches, the two hoops with a triangular cross-section seem to have neither beginning nor end. The shape of the pieces in the endless collection, which also includes rings and neck hoops, is altered by the wearer’s every movement. The “optimum wearing comfort and smoothness on the inside while featuring distinctive edges on the outside” principle perfectly suits a Berlin-based jewelry designer. An ample selection of works by Beate Brinkmann will be presented at the “INVENT – Contemporary Jewelry” exhibition at the “stilwerk” design center in Berlin.
