Like a Graphic Drawing

“belle affaire” necklace from Ines Arndt’s “rhythm gets it” collection. 750 yellow gold.
Precious, filigreed and sporting sensuous minimalism like a graphic drawing, the pieces of Ines Arndt’s “belle affaire” line are crafted from 750 gold. “Each time I create a piece of jewelry, it bears the mark of my searching for a correspondence between rhythm, sound and inner form,” she explains. Ines Arndt, born in 1968, finished her training at the Hanau State Academy as a master goldsmith and state-certified designer. Since 2005 she has been working in her own atelier in the small town of Eppertshausen in south Hesse. Arndt considers her jewelry as a symmetry of sounds and sound arrangements translated into space. Her “improvisations of melodious, linear webs” fascinate the beholder with their dynamic, intensity and lightness.
