A minimalist geometry, precise proportions and a purposeful absence of decoration are the hallmarks of this designer from Kierspe who thus intensifies the impact of the materials, their symbolism and their spatial presence. Wermekes, who trained under Friedrich Becker and later on managed his atelier, was the first designer to present an entire jewelry collection made of stainless steel and diamonds on the market in 1990.
