With her new edition of T1mepeace bangles, Denise Julia Reytan skilfully plays with the symbolism of the omnipresent timekeeper on the wrist. However, these T1mepeaces lack one important detail: The “dial“ is empty. It neither has hands nor numerals. Thus the wearer maintains his/her peace of mind yet doesn’t have to do without a beautiful accessory on the arm either.
With this timeless watch, the Berlin-based designer wants to remind us how important it is to enjoy life. Because when we are happy and having a good time, it doesn’t matter what time it is.
What distinguishes the new T1mepeaces from the original models is their length. Measuring 145 mm now compared to the original length of 175 mm, these ironic pieces of jewelry are not only smaller than their predecessors but also more filigreed.
