OUR JEWELRY OF THE DAY: THE INSERT NAVETTE RINGS DESIGNED BY BEATE BRINKMANN. 750 YELLOW OR RED GOLD AND A NAVETTE-SHAPED GARNET OR CITRINE.
The two “insert” rings created by Beate Brinkmann, a Berlin-based jewelry designer, feature navette-shaped gemstones spanned by the bold arch of a golden ring band. Looking at them from the top the beholder only sees the plain golden ring band. When seen from the side, however, the radiant citrine or garnet looks at us as if it were the magic eye of an unknown deity. A true classic of modern jewelry design that is known only to a few.
