Clear-cut shapes, as well as expressive and minimalist designs are the keywords describing the jewelry and silversmithing art created by Rembrandt Jordan. No matter whether we look at his more sharp-edged creations or his smoothly sculptured pieces, their distinct presence is always harmonious and natural. The goal of this Belgian designer, whose creations can be termed ‘wearable objects of art’ or ‘sculptures to be worn on the body’, is to emphasize the wearer’s natural beauty. Since 1998 Rembrandt Jordan has won a number of awards and prizes, for example the Inhorgenta Europe Innovation Award in 2006.
