The focus in Eva Strepp’s jewelry is on pearls which she presents either as lustrous eye-catchers or aligned to form elegant rows or in a charming dialog with each other. This designer from Pforzheim simply loves the perfection of these round bodies that grow layer by layer. All her pieces are characterized by an elegant simplicity and clarity. Featuring two pearls of different sizes on a delicate gold wire, her “Pearls” necklace can be opened and closed by shifting the smaller pearl. For the pieces of her new collection entitled “Cut”, Strepp does not pierce the pearls but instead cuts a delicate groove into them to accommodate the ring band or a metal eyelet and thus puts them in the limelight in an appealing, modern fashion. For the first time, she now also offers bangles crafted from steel or gold wire and pearls.
