Metal winding elegantly around the wearer’s finger seems to take on a life of its own, forming little sculptures that unite beginning and end. Kleiner Schlingel (“Little Rascal”) is the humorous name Kerstin Henke chose for this ring line. The striking feature of these minimalist creations, handcrafted from fine square wire, is their sculptural quality and spatial lightness. Although every ring is crafted according to the same basic principle, each one has a character of its own. Worn on the finger, the different shapes and materials indicate something special about their wearer’s personality. The Kleiner Schlingel collection includes rings with or without a cultured pearl, with or without brilliant-cut diamonds as well as necklaces and complementing earrings.
