Gebrüder Schaffrath / Jewelry

Gebrüder Schaffrath

1923 Establishment of the company by Adam and Alois Schaffrath
1969 Creation of the company’s first diamond jewelry collection
1998 Alexander Leuz becomes design manager, now he is one of the company’s two managing directors

Based on modern jewelry concepts, Alexander Leuz has re-positioned the Hanau-based diamond cutting company as a brand. Its innovative Liberté© principle enables a diamond, set so as to be able to move freely, to unfold its brilliance to a maximum in a playful manner. In the Arcana line, a slender platinum arch extends over the stone, and in the Lumina collection created in 2004, the diamond is held by the concave ends of the ring band. The Vendetta and Lollipop ring collections have been designed for the wearer’s little finger. Gebrüder Schaffrath honored the year 2008 with its Unity rings which feature the eight as a symbol of infinity and good luck. The gemstone or pearl touches the wearer’s skin and makes for exciting haptic experiences.
