2000–2002 Further training in Pforzheim to earn her state-qualified jewelry designer and master goldsmith certificates
2002–2006 Worked as a master goldsmith at Niessing
2006/2007 Established her aurea 750 company

In her jewelry lines, Birgit Wissing skillfully unites clarity and sleek elegance with a dash of playfulness. Although she only uses as much material as is absolutely necessary, she nevertheless creates charming sculptural effects. The basic elements of her “FORMwahl” (“Choice of Form”) line are a circle or a heart which, gently curved, make for perfect wearing comfort. The ring heads of her “FORMbar” (“Formable”) line, composed of stylized petals, can be rotated around their axis like a horizontal windmill. The “ELLEise” necklace from the “ELLE” collection gracefully snuggles around its wearer’s neck featuring a sequence of dynamic, springy lines. Thanks to the necklace’s length of 100 cm and the flexibility and design of the individual links, it makes for a multitude of different looks.
